As part of our mission to connect great people with great opportunities, the last few months have been full-on with recruitment events. From exhibitions to obstacle courses, we’ve been getting stuck in – sometimes quite literally, knee-deep in mud.
Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been up to…
Earlier in July, our consultants Faye Tune and Clive Bateman headed to InstallerSHOW 2025 at the NEC – the UK’s flagship event for heating, plumbing, electrical, and renewables.
We’re committed to staying connected with the industries we recruit for. So Faye and Clive spent the day exploring the latest innovations, reconnecting with familiar faces, and chatting to businesses about recruitment events, hiring challenges and future workforce needs.
Being on the ground gave us valuable insight into where the market is heading – and sparked great conversations with clients and candidates alike.
And we’re not stopping there – a few more events are in the diary this month, so keep an eye out!

In June, Team Multitask tackled the Pretty Muddy 5K at Graves – and what a day it was!
Huge shoutout to our fearless runners: Kelly, Beth, Faye, Clive, Vicky, and Haydn. They jumped, climbed, crawled, and laughed their way across the course (with only a few minor bruises).
Thanks also to Steve and Layla – our sideline cheer squad, camera crew, and unofficial route planners.
We took on the challenge to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. We’re incredibly proud of the team’s effort – both in completing the race and raising awareness for a cause close to many hearts.
